She's The...Right Answer?

Okay, time for a little political rant. I got this email tonight. The subject was "Yes sir, she's the right answer". Inside this poorly-formatted email, the only text I saw was this:

"It is going to be an interesting election! Vote.

If you are an Obama partisan, you have my sympathy. Please do not read. Just delete. "

When I checked the email again, there were a bunch of images attached to it. They were all supposed to be...no, not pro-Republican, not pro-McCain, but pro-Palin! Yeah. But wait, it gets better. This was one of the pictures:

Now, I can guess at what the pro-Palin side is trying to say with this image: Barack's on a "widdle bicycle" and "our gal" is on a real bike.

But here's what I saw (and I'm not a Barack Obama supporter either!): First, left side of the photo of Senator Obama. See that white thing? That's the trailer
carrying one of his daughters. So, I see a presidential candidate, riding a bicycle, towing his daughter and a vice-presidential candidate leaning against a gas-guzzling motorcycle.

Hmm. Family man, spending time with his daughter(s) and using green power in proper protective gear versus short-skirted woman leaning against a gas-guzzler as though she's able to ride said motorcycle. Hmm. Doing, versus implying by association she can do. Hmmm.

No, gentle readers, I don't like Palin. I like her less than I like McCain---and that's saying something.

Don't get me wrong here....I'm not an Obama supporter. What I am is debating whether I want to "protest vote" and write in Dr. Ron Paul or try to keep McCain out of the White House by holding my nose and voting for Obama as the lesser of two evils. I don't believe Senator Obama is the change I am looking for. I don't believe he'll do anything to bring the Federal Government back into line and force it to follow the Constitution. But if photo "essays" like this one is all the other side can do to fight Senator Obama...they're gonna win the campaign for him.
