...to these ballband dishcloths! I found a similar pattern called a Textured Slip Stitch and it looks so classy! I've already knitted one up and am well into my second one. Looks like I need to find more colors to work with.
In the meantime, life with seven ferrets is never boring. The most challenging part of being a knitter with ferrets? Keeping the active yarn safe! River (she's number 5) loves to run off with my skeins---especially novelty yarns! It seems most knitters are perennially on the search for the "perfect" bag to keep their knitting in. In my case, that's doubled! It can't have any gaps whatsoever for the little mustelids to crawl into and snatch my yarn!
Speaking of knitting bags, my $85 Jordana Paige bage isn't worth $30! I've had it since Christmas (thank you, wonderful hubby) and one pocket has already ripped free of its seaming. *sigh* If I were to do it all over again, I'd buy large canvas totes and install zippers. With the extra money, I could buy yarn!
In the next couple of posts, I'll try to get some ferret pix up so you can see my business. And maybe I'll slip in a FO or two.
That's all for now.
